Very interesting video! It's great to discover many similarities with our own bookshelves. For this writer it all started with American Guitars by Tom Wheeler. André Duchossoir's books will alway be outstanding: written by a french author and finding the first edition of The Fender Stratocaster and Gibson Electrics in Paris while visiting Magnetic France, a great vintage guitar store owned by Patrice Bastien (Guitar Express).

Interesting video Zac, I also have the Pinecaster set, I had ordered it straight away when you announced it. Of course by the all the cooler edition numbers were all basically taken though ahah 😂 Enjoy your feeds always and thank you. Tommy~

@Ask Zac random question that I haven’t heard asked nor seen you answer: What is your opinion of 4-way switches on a Telecaster? Do you see benefit (in your playing and style) in the series setting?

I got the Fender Telecaster book....gonna use it to wire my tele build, so I hope those are correct...I have seen people trying to sell it for $300, I found it for $29....Zac effect in action :p

I would love to see an additional episode about the other shelves. I have the Strat in the Attic book that I see up on the higher shelf there! I love all things Deke Dickerson related! 🤠 Thanks Zac!

Hello Zak. Great story on Buck's guitar. I was honored to work for Buck and his sons at KNIX radio in Phoenix for 8 years. It was one of the stations he owned for 30 years. I was on an Advisory Board to the Arizona Music an Entertainment Hall of Fame in 2007 when we inducted Buck into the Hall. His son Buddy Alan accepted the award on his dad's behalf. I helped with his induction that day and then one of the best Christmas gifts I could ever get was a BUCK guitar with my name engraved on it. It came from the Owens family because Buck had already passed but I love and cherish it to this day. I was at his funeral in Bakersfield in 2006 and so was Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam and Garth Brooks who was a pallbearer. The best years of a 50-year career in country radio was working at Buck's radio station.

I have quite of few of these books but those Blackguard and Pinecaster books are so amazingly expensive. I would love to have a copy of each but good lord. I love books so much. Thanks for sharing your shelves with us.

Do you still have your Les Paul?

My coolest book is my copy of The Guitar book by Tom Wheeler. I bought it in 1979. It still has the dust cover. $18.95 was big money for me when I was 18 years old.

I have the fender amps book the first 50 years, same paperback. Great book. As soon as I started buying up blackface amps I was sure to pick a copy up. 👌

I have the Stratocaster Chronicles, Soul of Tone, and The Blackguard book. They are great references.

My dad also had the Stratosphere double nwck made in Arkansas. I believe only 16 were made. I have his tele and my sister has the double neck

Jimmy was my dad's guitar hero and bought a tele in 1951. I met Jimmy in Nashville and had a good chat with him. I brought my dad back with me and introduced him to his hero. Spent 2 evenings playing, laughing, drinking, just having fun. Will never forget his kindness. He wS great.
